INTENSE Regaty 2017

We wanted to enjoy the end of summer and so we went to Polish Jura for 11th Edition of INTENSE Regaty

The plan was simple: we were going to divide into 2 groups, get tired and have some fun. The first group had to face with the rock climbing. On the first sight the rock made an impression but minute after minute we made ourselves more and more couregous and so most of us conquered the rock.

As a matter of fact for some of us the difficulty level was just ridiculous.

By the time the first group was fighting with the fear of heights, the second one fought its claustrophobia during exploration of Koralowa Cave. Of course it was not only about walking through the cave because first of all we had to go down to it and it was not the easiest thing to do.

All after all we made it and then we went to the journey through the cave.

When it seemed that nothing more tiring would happen to us we were shocked when heard that no one was going to pull us out of the cave and we had to do it ourselves. Fortunately for us not even this could break us.

After couple of hours both groups switched their places without forgetting about regeneration. We were regenerating by different ways. By sitting…

…lying…

…and standing.

When we came back to the hotel we had got only a while to refresh and change clothes. It is worth to mention that the outfit had to be special because we were going to take part in a 20s party.

The room decoration referred to the times of prohibition and it was filled by roulette and black-jack table. It was the night full of dancing…

…singing…

…and a little bit of gambling.                                                                                

The croupiers squeezed in like a dash when the seasoned players moved to gambling. As you probably know gambling means many hard decisions which have to be made…

…and also nerve play. Unfortunately not everyone was able to keep the nerves in a water.

Meanwhile, the social media stars were making some selfies to satisfy their fans…

…but also the local godfathers were acting like photomodels.

At the end of the day we have nothing left to do except counting the money…

…and spending it. But we had only one way to spend it. We could spent it only for the car. The problem was – we had to construct it by ourselves. The winner would be the team who construct it earlier than the rival. No longer waiting everyone took to the work…

…OK, maybe not everyone.

Unfortunately it quickly turned out that we did not have enough money to buy every part necessary to construct the car. So the clever ones started to earn some money by successful shooting and logical games.

It was very tough rivalry but in the end the team called The Careful Bears won the game. The winners celebrated their victory by drinking some champain and then they could start their lunch looking from the above on the losers.

Right before our coming back we got some propositions from the large car companies which wanted to buy our prototypes. Unfortunately it quickly turned out that our cars are too fast and could not be allowed to the roads.

And this is how 11th INTENSE Regaty ended. We are going to miss it but the next year we are going to repeat it.
