INTENSE Regaty 2019

Unlucky thirteen? That was definitely the thought of most of us, when schedule of our traditional September trip was revealed. Its main event supposed to be cycling tour which was our nightmare since 10^th edition. Have we done better this time?

It depends J On the one hand we got to the place in one piece but there were also few sections that required pushing our bikes on top of the hills. Additionally several of us fell of the bicycles but fortunately there were no dramatic effects.

Along the way, we caught up with the Lookout Tower near Krynica, from which we could enjoy beautiful views ...

and although some of us found walk in the treetops very attractive...

…even delightful…

…there were also some guys that loved to lie on the ground.

Right after bicycle trip we change our sport outfits to the suits and dresses to look like 007 characters.

James Bond's various incarnations prevailed, but there were also some dark characters known from Bond films. Although...does this man (or is it woman?) look bad to you?

In such costumes we indulged in great fun at roulette, poker and black jack as well as a wheel of fortune.

As usual some were lucky in cards…

The atmosphere was electrified.

After few hours of great fun we need to get rest because the next day was going to be a mini-golf tournament day.  

An obligatory element was a short training, which each participant of the tournament had to pass. Thanks to it we learned that the most important in golf are:

A trained eye ...

…meticulous counting…

…and enthusiasm for the game.

Those who were able to turn theory into practice later enjoyed a well-deserved win.

As usual 2 days of fun passed away definitely too fast but the countdown to the next trip has begun. But…please, this time no bikes! ;)
