In response to the company’s growing need for information, the Agronomist Panel was developed – a modern reporting tool based on the INTENSE Platform that provides mobile, intuitive access to sales data and customer relationships.

For the past 21 years, PROCAM Polska has been providing farmers with high-quality plant protection products, fertilizers, and seeds, while also offering top-tier agronomic consulting. With an in-depth understanding of regional specifics and current challenges in agricultural technology, the company delivers solutions aligned with the principles of sustainable agriculture. Currently, PROCAM employs approximately 162 sales representatives operating throughout Poland.

CHALLENGES BEFORE IMPLEMENTATION

PROCAM employees, including agronomists, use mobile devices like iPads in their daily work. A key challenge was the implementation of a reporting solution compatible with the iOS system that would allow effective viewing and analysis of sales data. Excel spreadsheets proved insufficient – their readability on mobile devices left much to be desired, and sales reps needed quick access to key sales indicators, progress towards goals, and lists of incentivized products. Additionally, there was a need to create a space where employees could monitor customer relations – track outstanding payments, analyze top products purchased by clients, and have contact information readily available.

After analyzing available solutions, PROCAM chose to utilize INTENSE Platform, which the company had already been using for document workflow and customer credit limit management. A crucial step was the creation of the Agronomist Panel – a modern reporting tool that provides intuitive access to sales data.

The Agronomist Panel is a set of clear dashboards and tables that continuously summarize each sales representative’s performance. Available data includes:

  • Sales plan execution (plan vs. actual sales),
  • Sales progress compared to the previous period,
  • Sales breakdown by product groups and seasons (spring, autumn),
  • Quantitative sales performance by product.

The tool was quickly embraced by PROCAM employees and received very positive feedback. Many sales representatives start their workday by checking their performance, which helps them plan their sales activities effectively and maximize their bonuses. The Agronomist Panel has not only improved reporting but also contributed to increased motivation within the sales team and better overall company performance.
