INTENSE Platform Version 2023.1 - What's New?

We have introduced a number of key features in various areas of the Platform. These changes focus on improving the ergonomics of using INTENSE Platform.

The most important features are:

ATTACHMENTS - NEW INTERFACE AND LIST

Managing multiple attachments on an object in the web interface has become much easier. We have introduced a new mode for viewing attached files. Its most important element is the list of attachments. It allows you to quickly view all the properties of attachments contained in an object.

The entire created layout is ductile - you can adjust the size and placement of its fields using splitters. Movable lines separating attachments and comments allow free control of the the form's view. It can be adapted to match your current activity thus improving your work experience. You can also perform actions on multiple attachments simultaneously.

REPORTING WITH LINKED OBJECTS

Working with reports has become interactive and dynamic. The user can move with one click to the object to which an item on the report applies. Internal objects such as documents, contractor cards, items, other dictionaries as well as external files or web links can be sublinked. The functionality works on SQL and OLAP reports. From now on, the process of data analysis is a pleasure.

IMPROVING THE ERGONOMICS OF WORKING WITH BUDGETS

These functions make working on budgets in the web interface more comfortable. Directly from the Gantt chart and schedule task list you can make changes related to task progress, duration and working time. It is up to the user to decide whether it is more convenient to make budget/schedule updates from the graphical view (Gantt chart) or from the hierarchical structure. These changes will make your work smoother.

WE CARE ABOUT CONTINUOUS PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS

In version 2023.1, INTENSE Platform has been optimized for performance. Changes in database handling result in faster add, edit and delete operations. The optimization has also contributed to faster times for saving list layouts over a virtual private network (VPN). In addition, the import of the language needed to support translations in the web portal and mobile application has been optimized, reducing import time during both setup and conversion, where Polish and English are automatically updated.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL

Other Platform enhancements include:

Agent task recalculation - allows you to collectively recalculate startup dates for active agent tasks, which is useful when the service is stopped. We recommend using this feature in installations with multiple agent tasks before restarting the service to avoid running outstanding tasks at the same time and make optimal use of available resources.

Decimal VAT rate - this enables the use of decimal VAT rates for processes associated with countries where they apply.

New administrative tools - for ease of maintenance, we have built comprehensive installation wizards for services that work with the Platform. For security reasons, an automatic encryption function for configuration files has also been introduced.
