Polands's Largest Seaport with INTENSE Platform

Can INTENSE Platform support the Port's activities related to maritime transportation and the organization of its infrastructure?

Port of Gdansk is Poland's largest and Europe's fastest-growing port of the last decade. Due to its strategic location, amount of cargo turnover, and key importance in international transportation, the facility plays an extremely important role in the economy of our country, but also the entire Pomeranian region. At the end of 2022, Port of Gdansk was ranked second in the ranking of Baltic ports in terms of the number of tons of cargo handled (68.2 million tons).

We are therefore pleased that the daily operations of Port of Gdansk are supported by INTENSE Platform. Our long-time partner, Insoft Consulting Sp. z o.o. is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and development of the system. We recently had the opportunity to conduct a series of training sessions on the administration of INTENSE Platform system. We introduced the employees of Port of Gdansk to the issues of advanced reporting and the use of INTENSE ESB integration bus.

INTENSE Enterprise Service Bus is a state-of-the-art tool providing continuous and fully automated data flow between systems operating in Port of Gdansk. Thanks to this connection of data sources, despite their diversity, they act as one coherent IT organism.

Defined structures (so-called Master Data), which are the benchmark for other systems, provide the company with access to integrated, consistent, and good-quality data. This is extremely important due to the size of the organization and the hundreds of millions of different pieces of information circulating. Adequate data management and proper selection and data usage are tasks entrusted to INTENSE Platform.

The good atmosphere of the training is best evidenced by the opinion sent to us by representatives of Port of Gdansk: "The ladies coped brilliantly with time pressure and conveyed a great deal of knowledge to us without leaving any question unanswered".
