Cooperation between Intense Group and ORLEN Technologie began in 2011 with the implementation of the Intense Platform across the following business areas:
- Workflow and Document Management
- Engineering Document Management
- Project Budgeting and Cost Analysis
- Development and Management of a Multi-Source Data Warehouse
- Business Analytics and Reporting
- Automated Notifications and Report Distribution
- SAP ERP Integration
- HR Process Management, including Leave and Business Travel
- KSeF Integration
The initial implementation focused on Electronic Document Management, including a central document repository and OCR technology, significantly streamlining and automating document registration.
Intense Platform was fully integrated with the company’s SAP ERP system. The integration covered employee, purchase order, and business partner master data, as well as the export of approved invoices to SAP and the retrieval of ERP data back into the platform.
In the next phase, the platform was expanded to support the digitalization of HR processes, further extending automation and improving operational efficiency across the organization.

ORLEN Technologie (formerly PGNiG Technologie) is an engineering and EPC contractor specializing in projects for the natural gas, oil, and energy sectors. The company builds on decades of technical expertise developed within the PGNiG Group and now operates as part of the integrated ORLEN multi-energy group.
The company delivers end-to-end investment projects, including the construction and modernization of gas pipelines, production facilities, storage infrastructure, and energy installations. Acting as a general contractor, ORLEN Technologie provides turnkey project execution, covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and industrial service.
The transition from PGNiG Technologie to ORLEN Technologie was part of the integration of the ORLEN Group’s gas business and reinforces the company’s position as a specialized engineering partner supporting one of the largest energy companies in Central Europe.
